Silk screening has combination of unique features which other printing methods lack. Main distinctive feature of this technology is that it offers almost unlimited possibilities of direct printing on a wide range of materials and forms used in advertising manufacture. This paint layer results in getting the brightest and most attention-getting colors with maximum effectiveness.
Silk screening is used for almost every type of textile products: bags, T-shirts, baseball caps, polo shirts, wind-cheaters, du-rags, streamers, flags etc.
Silk screening is applied very widely because the technology allows usage of wide range paints (both in color and features – mat, glossy, heat-sensitive, fluorescent, spumescent, golden etc.);
This is why it has rich appearance, high brightness and excellant color saturation.
We implement any complexity print on bags, T-shirts, polo shirts, du-rags and other textile fabrics ;also we print on T-shirts applying different special effects.
Received application is characterized by:
- greatest stability and longevity in regards to washing and wearing, compared to other types of print on textile fabrics;
- high productivity (printing speed) on long runs;
- high image brightness
- possibility to use different special effects (3D images, metallic);
- not very high resolution (to 120lpi) hence the complexity of printing full-color and detailed images;
Full color printing – printing on textile made by direct screen printing using image color separation on CMYK and pantone colors. This method results in giving deep coloring range to the image and blend of colors and their tints.
Thermo transfer print
Thermo transfer print technology consists in moving the image on the complete product using intermediate carrier (thermo transfer paper, film).
Image applied in mirror mode on work side of the paper covered by special formulation. For image making four-color laser or ink-jet printing, and silk-screen printing can be used. Received image is positioned on product and jam by thermo press. Under the temperature effect and pressure image applied from thermo sensitive paper on the product.
Thermo transfer advantages
— Uniformity of impression on textured surface.
— Possibility of application of full-color images.
— Possibility of using min=0,25mm image elements on textile goods.
— Efficiency at small formats and small number of copies.
— Pictures placed on products using transfers show ultra light and significant lines and exact colours. This brightens up application and creates original attracting effects.
— Possibility of special types of print which other types of print do not support – special effects on materials. For example flock print, foamed ink print, thermo lifting etc.
Thermo transfers can be produced:
1. With water-based ink
Their advantages: ecological, softness of print (because the paint paints material fibres), very high resistance to washing
drawbacks: softness of print is visible only on bright products (on dark textile paint layer will be the same as plastisol ink), less brighter colors (gentle colors), insufficient quality in tonal printing, more expensive than other paint types
2. Plastisol ink:
Their advantages: bright paint colors, great results when printing on dark products, high tonal printing quality, cheapest type of paint
drawbacks: more tangible imprint, one cannot iron on the image, possible allergy issues
Using any of the types of transfers is determined by type of material and nature of the product onto which thermo transfer is transferred.
